On 30 October 2019 Justice Pankaj Bhandari of the Rajasthan High Court quashed the FIR and chargesheet in the cattle-transport case against Khan's sons and the driver, finding no evidence that the cows were being taken for slaughter.[1] In March 2020 the Juvenile Justice Board in Alwar found two minors guilty, the first conviction in the case.[2]
