Translations:Lynching of Qasim Qureshi/11/en
On 18 June 2018 a mob of 20 to 25 people attacked Qasim and Samiuddin at Bajhera Khurd village on suspicion of cow slaughter.[1] Qasim died of his injuries, while Samiuddin survived.[2] A video that circulated afterwards showed Samiuddin, bleeding from the head, being made to say that he had been slaughtering a cow; Deccan Chronicle noted that the video's authenticity could not be independently confirmed.[3]
