Relatives said the men made repeated phone calls home between about 2 am and 4 am on 7 June. A cousin said Chand Miya Khan had told him they were under attack by a mob before the call was cut, and that during a call lasting about 47 minutes Saddam Qureshi could be heard crying for help.[1][2]
